Cancun Lovin...!!

Hello my loveliesss!!!!

It's your girl SSS checking in after a very blog-neglectful hiatus..!! And my reason for such abandonment is in the hands of my little teddy Richard in the picture above. Yes, the absolutely GORGEOUS city of Cancun captivated my mind soul and body just within a matter of days. And I must say, it was one of the most life changing, inspirational, and magnificent week I have had in my entire 23 years of life!!!!

Within the last week, I spent my days falling helplessly in love with what I now consider paradise. Mexico welcomed my thirsty curiosity, anointed my intellectual and carnal desires,  and soothed my ever-so-agitated state of mind!! While in paradise, I not only indulged in turquoise blue oceans and an all inclusive lifestyle,  but I also went on fantastic adventures! From trailing preciously historic ruins, to swan diving into magical cenotes, and exploring all Mexico's remarkable culture and traditions!

Its so hard to put in words what a phenomenal time I had! But I CAN share my adventures with you guys through SSS blog and the tons of documentation I did while in paradise! So if you're interested in taking a tour of my time in Cancun, stay tuned for my upcoming posts: Cloud 9 Cancun!

Within just a few weeks from coming back from Disney World, StephieSoSexy hopped back on another Florida bound flight and brought along 3 voluptuous vixens with her....

With her tanning oil, margaritas, and 6 inch heels on deck, S.S.S and her pussycat dolls took over the oh so sexy south beach. Leaving all inhibitions back in gloomy and grey NYC...

palomas de bilbao

upon arriving in bilbao, i instantly fell in love...

madly in love with bilbao's airport. this airport, being an exquisite architectural work of art.

nicknamed 'la paloma' (the dove), the terminal is sleekly designed with two symmetrical 'wings'

and a sharp tip that was purposely positioned to be seen when approaching the terminal from the sides.

composed of white concrete and glass... filled with wide, bright, luminous corridors. walls of glass
panels, spilling in white sunhine that shines through the mountain ranges. the new terminal is designed
by world renowned architect Santiago Calatrava responsible for his astonishing designs, worldwide.

i was too shutter happy with this place...

WOW'ed by BILBAO!

one of the BEST  things about europe is the geographical unity the european countries have.

you can visit up to three countries in one day! everyone is everyone's neighbor. while on my trips to

france, i usually visit other countries as well. having had had the benefit of visiting Venice, Belgium, 

holland, spain and even greenland... a eurotrip can really stretch out! this time around though, i
re-visited spain and holland. more specifically bilbao and amsterdam. 

now, ignorantly and honestly enough, before my trip i haven't even HEARD of a place called Bilbao.

but when my daddy surprised me with this trip to spain, my endless curiositty and anxiousness began

tingling.... i was about to visit not only a place i have never been to before, but a place i have never
heard of before!! and boy did i discover a whole new world within bilbao....

bilbao is kind of like a hidden city... literally hidden amongst an arcopalogo. smack in the middle of

looming mountains, you come across a metropolis of lights, bilbao. what impressed me the most about

bilbao,  apart from the culture, architecture, and atmosphere... was the feeling of independence. maybe its

the remote location of bilbao, but while walking along the streets of this city, you get sense of autonomy. 

self government, voluntary exclusion, sovereignty. i brought this up to my dad, and come to find out, i

was quite accurate. with parting factors such as their own language, Euskera, locations, and a healthy economy
in the mix,  bilbao seems like it wants to gain independence from spain. hmmm. 

roaming the streets of bilbao i notice the city slowly undergoing a new physical transformation, a bit 

'futuristic' like. modern architecture flowing throughout its avenues and alleyways. bilbao is also home

to one of the Guggenheim Museums. an architectural haven. 

which i didn't get the chance to visit. ::heartbreak:: :*(

next time i suppose.

but one place i fell deep in love with in bilbao, was it's airport.

the most phenomenal airport i have laid my eyes on.

my next post will be dedicated to the airport...

but for now... here's a glimpse of my days in Bilbao!

burning up with louvre fever!

nyc nyc, i'm back baby!

this is my first post of 2011, also being my 101st post!!!

and what better way to embrace such an entry than with
some old school italians, a sphinx, and a ferris wheel?!!!

while in paris, i kicked it back with mona lisa at the Musée du Louvre.
the last time i had the pleasure of being amidst the masterpieces the loure holds, was 6 years ago. no art exhibition, no showcase  that i have ever attended  compares to this treasure chest of a museum.  this is definitely a worldwide landmark, home to a number of mankind's precious artistic gems. located in the heart of paris, the city of lights... being a precious gem of its own, nestling some of histories most breathtaking monuments.

as thrilled as a kid at a candy store, i snapped away countless of pictures...
navigating through italian works of art and egyptian jewels.

Galeries Lafayette, you aint seen shopping yet!

Greetings gorgeous readers! 

As you know, i am spending my last few days of 2010 in the city of love... the city of lights... Paris! visiting my wonderful dad. #daddysgirl!. i come out here every couple of years or so, and every time i do, i fall in love all over again visiting every famous, and not so famous, yet still breathtaking, landmarks. right now though, i am in bilbao, spain...!!! this city has captivated me entirely!! i'll share my experience here in bilbao with you guys in the next few posts... as for now lets speak french!

one of the places i always stop by in paris is the extravagant Galeries Lafayyete. now, i live in nyc... so i am pretty familiar with the extravagancy some fashion venues may bring. but nothing compares to the fashion hot spots paris has to offer! galeries laffayette being one of them! as soon as you approach the shopping center, you're greeted by flashing lights of all colors, sizes, and luminosity! it's like one big fashion party!! 

my daddy spoils me rotten when i'm out here, 

so while out shopping, i  brought along my camera to take you 

guys on a tour of this fashion wonderland...!!!
